Krispy Kreme Doughnut Recipe
Light and fluffy donuts will melt in your mouth. The taste is as good as the store-bought crispy creams. If you've ever waited in line for a crispy cream doughnut, raise your hand. Now, raise both hands. Had to take it. So I have to admit that I have done both. Don't feel guilty about it and I got in trouble for it.
I was too late for work that day, but guess what? After giving my boss some crispy cream donuts, he didn't bother. I had to bribe him. So but wait, can you believe I still got dinged for it. So even after he gobbled down almost half a dozen. Bummer!
Hot crispy cream doughnuts have nothing to do with biting - it melts in your mouth, making you want more and more. I have to gather all my strength of will to stop at two. But to this day it has been an impossible task.
- I don't know what these donuts are about.
- Is this the exact crack from the donut?
- Or the feeling of melting in your mouth.
- Or maybe the fact that it's deep-fried.
- Your guess is as good as mine
Anyway so, at least I didn't go down without explaining myself first. That's why when I saw this donut I decided to try it.
- I know what you're thinking, what's the point of making it at home when the store-bought version is cheap and good? I find it curious to make them at home.
- It's going to be on the Father's Day weekend menu. I know that husband and wife will be very happy!
- Although they may look unprofessional and unequal, they have an advantage over store-bought versions.
- So you can make a cake, you can make it. They are not so difficult to make. If you can also make it without a mixer.
Ingredients:
- 2 packs 1/4 ounce packages instant yeast or (4 teaspoons) yeast
- 1/3 cup warm water 105-115F / 40-46C
- 1 1/2 cup milk (whole milk or low-fat milk)
- 1/2 cup cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup (75 grams) butter or short, soften.
- 5 cups of all-purpose flour
- Canola oil for frying
Doughnut glaze
- 3 cups melted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 5-7 tablespoons evaporated milk
Instructions:
- In a standing mixer, mix lukewarm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until dissolved.
- Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe medium bowl, heat the milk for about 2 minutes. So take it out and let it cool.
- In a bowl of yeast add milk, sugar, salt, eggs, qasr or butter, and 2 cups flour.
- Mix for 2 minutes on medium speed. Add the remaining 3 cups of flour and keep mixing. Scratch down
- Place the flour in a large greased bowl. Cover loosely with a clean cloth and leave to rise in a warm, draft-free area for about 1 to 2 hours or until it doubles.
- Roll the doughnut about 1/4 inch thick on the surface of the dough. Using a doughnut cutter or cookie cutter, cut into doughnuts approximately 1 inch and 1 3 or 4 inches. Let stand for about 10 minutes.
- In a large saucepan, pour the vegetable oil until it is at least 3 inches (or about 5 cm) high and keep it on medium heat until the oil is 375 degrees.
- Carefully put the Krispy Kreme doughnuts in hot oil, just a few at a time. So fry, turning once, for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on ready-made paper towels.
Doughnut glaze
- Melt the butter in a safe microwave bowl.
- Remove and stir in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until all is combined.
- Then evaporate the milk (or sub-water) until you reach the desired consistency.
- Dip the donuts in the glaze and let them drip onto the rack.
