These sandwiches are delicious and easy to make. She's one of my family's favorite fixes right away. I like to serve them with large bowls of vegetable soup and lentil pickles. Slices of rye bread are loaded with cornmeal, piles with cheese, pork chops, and tangy Russian dressing. This Reuben is everything a grilled sandwich should have. Enjoy!

Ingredients for Reuben Sandwich

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 pieces of rye bread
  • 8 slices daily chopped corn meat
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, dried.
  • 1 cup thousand island dressing

Instructions:

Step 1

Preheat a large pan or grill over medium heat

Step 2

Put light butter on one side of the bread crumbs. Spread the butterless sides with a thousand island dressings. On 4 pieces of bread, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 2 slices of corned beef, 1/4 cup of sorcery, and another slice of Swiss cheese. Top with the rest of the bread crumbs, buttered sides out.

Step 3

Grill the sandwich until both sides are golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Serve hot.
